Beginning Monday, May 18, and continuing through the remainder of the school year, Cleveland ISD will prohibit backpacks for all middle and high school students.
This measure is intended to reduce distractions and help campuses remain focused on final exams and end-of-year activities.

Cleveland ISD is closely monitoring local weather conditions. Due to anticipated inclement weather, the Cleveland Middle School boys basketball tournament scheduled for Saturday, January 24, through Sunday, January 25, has been canceled.
